Terms and Conditions
Terms of service for using Firelog
Welcome to Firelog (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the App you confirm that you (i) are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and (ii) have read, understood, and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
Firelog is a subscription‑based mobile dashboard that lets developers monitor and administer Firebase projects and Cloud Billing budgets directly from their iOS devices.
Key features include:
- Real‑time access to Firebase services (Firestore, Functions, Authentication, Storage, Remote Config, A/B Testing)
- View and edit Cloud Billing budgets, spend thresholds, and alerts
- Push notifications for critical events (e.g., spend limits exceeded, function errors)
- Multi‑account & multi‑project switching
The App is offered as a single Subscription Plan (no free tier). You may activate a three‑day free trial; continued use after the trial requires payment.
3. User Accounts & Authentication
3.1 Google Sign‑In
You must authenticate with Google Sign‑In (OAuth 2.0) to use the App. Firelog never sees or stores your Google password.
3.2 OAuth Scopes Requested
To provide its functionality Firelog requests the following Google OAuth scopes:
| Scope | Purpose |
|---|---|
openid, email, profile | Identify you and personalise the UI |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/firebase | Read & write Firebase configuration and data |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/firebase.readonly | Display read‑only dashboards where editing is disabled |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-billing | View and update Cloud Billing budgets |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-billing.readonly | Populate billing pickers and read spend data |
You can revoke these permissions at any time via your Google Account Security › Third‑party access page. Revoking required scopes will disable corresponding App features.
3.3 Multi‑Account Support
Firelog supports multiple Google accounts. Projects are associated with the account that owns them. Switching accounts will change the available project list.
3.4 User Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and Google credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscription Terms
- Free Trial: One 3‑day free trial per Apple ID. Trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Billing & Auto‑Renewal: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store using RevenueCat. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Cancellation & Refunds: Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Apple's refund policy applies.
- Project Limits: The subscription plan allows unlimited Firebase projects and billing accounts.
5. Intellectual Property
Firelog, including all content and software, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual‑property laws. You receive a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable licence to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
